how do you find images? did you take them yourself; they're pretty

thank u !! uhmm that's a bit general. some of them are mine (pics i took / graphics i drew) and some are stuff i find on the internet. for background images, some of them came from https://eggnored.tumblr.com/pattern. a TINY portion of the graphics are from pinterest, which as we all know is the graveyard of copyright rules. namely the bunch of random paper sticker ish graphics on the obsessions page, irrc. i removed the backgrounds of those and stuck a bunch together in procreate. i *mostly* do try to stick to explicitly f2u ones or cc ones though. what else... all the pics usually go through vigorous editing to achieve the effect you see on the page. i do a bunch of filters to make the color scheme look pretty. other times i do stuff like smash eight album covers together into a banner. that sort of thing. generally when searching for images i just... type keywords into the search engine lol. the pylon pics all came from searching 'pylon', and an exhausting amount of time spent finding which images dont require money to download. for searching cc images i use unsplash and flickr mostly. the images are all free to use and there's a lot of excellent photography on there. some of those are paywalled though but that goes for literally every website these days. hope this helps <3

really cool site, i love the backrooms and liminal spaces as well, and i really like how you incorporated a lot of "mystery" and liminality into your site with the fonts, background images, etc. you're incredible talented and congrats on winning the indie web contest!
